Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Where is iOS app. By using Where is, you agree to these Terms.

2. The App

Where is is a skill-based number search game. You can practice in training mode and, after signing in, play ranked matches against other players or server-controlled fallback opponents.

3. Accounts

Ranked play, ratings, match history, leaderboard placement, and purchases require an account created through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your device and Apple account secure.

4. Fair Play

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, tamper with the app or network protocol, impersonate others, abuse matchmaking, or interfere with other players. Ranked results, rating changes, penalties, reconnect handling, technical losses, and anti-cheat decisions are server-authoritative.

5. Matchmaking, Rating, and Penalties

Ranked matches may affect your rating and match history. Leaving a ranked match, repeatedly surrendering, disconnecting, or failing reconnect rules may count as a loss or trigger temporary ranked restrictions. We may adjust matchmaking, bot fallback, rating rules, or safety systems to protect fair play.

6. Supporter Purchase

Where is offers a one-time Supporter in-app purchase. Supporter removes banner ads and may show a Supporter badge. It does not provide gameplay advantages, rating boosts, easier opponents, matchmaking priority, or anti-cheat exemptions.

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Refunds and payment issues are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, Supporter benefits may be removed. A valid non-consumable Supporter purchase may be restored to a new account after the previous account is deleted, unless the transaction has been refunded or revoked.

7. Ads

Non-Supporter users may see non-gameplay banner ads. Ads are not intended to provide gameplay advantages or affect ranked outcomes.

8. User Content and Nicknames

You may choose a nickname. Nicknames must not impersonate others, include abusive or unlawful content, or violate the rights of others. We may reject, reset, or moderate nicknames when needed.

9. Account Restrictions and Termination

We may restrict ranked access, suspend, ban, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to cheat, or create security or legal risk. If you believe a restriction was applied by mistake, contact support.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Deletion revokes active sessions, unlinks Sign in with Apple from the deleted backend account, clears profile identifiers such as nickname, and marks the profile as deleted. Some records may be retained or anonymized for match integrity, purchase/refund handling, anti-cheat, security, support, and legal compliance.

11. Availability and Changes

Where is may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, testing, or updates. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, matchmaking rules, rating rules, ads, purchases, or supported environments at any time.

12. Privacy

Your use of Where is is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Apple Terms

Where is is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app and purchases may also be subject to Apple's App Store terms and Apple's standard end user license terms where applicable.

14. No Warranty

Where is is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Where is and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the app.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when this version became effective. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
